Teaming up with Man Repeller at TwelveNYC, I designed a packaging system for their Summer Picnic collection that incorporated their new re-branding as Repeller.

Using everyday kitchen items, the collection is cheeky, sustainable and flips the idea of traditional packaging on its head—creating an unboxing experience that is equal parts functional, sustainable, and delightfully unexpected.

Dainty accessories are tucked inside a screen-printed Tupperware container, nestled into a pocket on the sponge—adding a soft protective layer while reinforcing the collection’s fresh take on everyday objects.

The Unibrow Sunglasses are slid snugly into a soft handle doubling up as a protective holder, as well as a hot pan handle cover.

For bigger accessories, I came up with the idea of using Tyvek to create a crinkly, fold-over lunch bag effect — with a velcro closure, it’s perfect for toting snacks to a picnic.

Lightweight, durable, and water-resistant, Tyvek gave us the ideal mix of function and fun. It mimicked the look of a classic brown bag but with a fashion-forward twist.
